Welcome to the Musing Area!

From time to time, I will be posting random musings here.  These may include questions I have had or just random ramblings.  Either way... feel free to contact me with your responses... I would be glad to hear your opinions.

YMOS,

Musing #1

For years, I have attended events and have enjoyed running into friends and their families.  A growing part of those families have become pets... And so my first musing...

I personally own a Boston Terrier, truly a wonderful lil dog... and he will be attending some events with me in the future... but I do understand as a breed, Boston's did not begin appearing until 1849 and even then they were regional and only belonged to the affluent.  So where did the dog fit among the period, and what breeds were popular?  I see flash backs of the two big great danes from "The Patriot," and I wonder...   What can be considered a "period correct" dog?  And is there such a monster?

...not that it really matters, I am not going to give up my Boston, but I have heard a many person wanting to "document" their gear... and it got me to thinking about our four legged friends...

Silly perhaps... but just a thought.
